Kettler RX7 Recumbent Exercise Bike Review

!±8± Kettler RX7 Recumbent Exercise Bike Review

The first thing you notice using the Kettler RX7 recumbent bike is the very comfortable seat and riding position. The high back takes all the strain off the back which also makes it suitable for people recovering from injury or with back problems (always check with your GP before starting an exercise programme).

With a whopping 48 pre-set programmes it should be enough to keep everyone interested with the variation. Pre-set programmes are a great motivator as they keep you coming back for more with their variation. If you keep doing the same things you can get bored quickly and give up your training regime. The variation in the RX7's programmes will help you to get fitter quicker by using hills, intervals, sprint and duration sessions.

There are 5 different heart rate controlled programmes to optimise each session for burning fat and building fitness. Your pulse can be monitored via the hand grips or with a chest strap (not included). We recommend the chest strap as a better way to measure your pulse with the heart rate workouts simply because it's much more accurate.

Whether you're a complete beginner or already fit and looking to cross train, the Kettler RX7 has a lot to offer you. The console and display is a master class in design - the menu selection system makes skipping through the programmes or changing the settings easy and quick. The console can store up to 4 user profiles so that means the whole family can use it and measure their progress over time.

Conclusion:
A superb recumbent bike that's one of the best we've tried in this price range.
